Smooth Stretch Upper with GORE-TEX Invisible Fit
Offering feet with a comfortable smooth stretch-woven upper construction, the Daichi 9 GORE-TEX keeps feet prepared for every part of your trail. The updated uppers provide a sock-like comforting fit to not only keep feet secure but also keep them protected from the trail ahead. Not only this, but the materials will provide you with a soft and fluid fit due to the horizontally stretching nature. The fabrics will allow cool, fresh air to surround your feet, preventing discomfort and overheating. A GORE-TEX Invisible Fit lining provides highly breathable waterproof protection, helping you to stay dry from the inside out. It allows built-up heat and vapour to escape whilst external moisture is sealed out, so you can stay focused on the trail ahead without worrying about damp feet. Smooth overlays add structure to the upper while protecting you on the trail. The shoes have a traditional lacing system to allow you to adjust the fit, ensuring that your feet remain locked in, preventing in-shoe slippage.

Mizuno Enerzy Foam Midsole
Mizuno Enerzy Foam provides exceptional cushioning and high energy return. This foam has been combined with Mizuno Wave technology improving stability without sacrificing the soft responsive cushioning underfoot. The heel wedge and lower midsole provided by the Mizuno Enerzy Foam offer great ground contact and superior comfort with a smooth platform to push off from. Additionally, the shoes feature a Rock Plate located in the forefoot to offer optimal protection against rocks and debris without being heavy. Formed using a shock-absorbing EVA, the plate ensures protection while enhancing comfort and stability on uneven terrain.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole
Constructed from Vibram Megagrip rubber, the outsole of the Daichi 9 GORE-TEX delivers exceptional traction and grip across multiple surfaces. Not only this, but the outsole is highly durable and enhances the shoe's longevity, therefore providing you with a pair of shoes you can rely on throughout. The outsole provides 30% more vertical grip and 20% more lateral grip than conventional Vibram soles. Working in tandem with the outsole, multi-directional Traction lugs provide the support and traction needed on technical trails. This concept encompasses deep lugs and grooves to help adapt and work in perfect harmony, getting the best possible results on unpredictable trails.
